She Won’t Tell

August 2 at 7pm

Is a gospel musical stage play that depicts and exposes the secret behind the doors of child molestation and/or rape. This play was written by Karen y. Peoples, a native of Detroit, Michigan, where she was born and raised, but forced to survive in a home where this hideous crime took place every day, from the age of three, until she was 12.

“Many people believe that child molestation is a sporadic thing that happens, and that it can never happen to them; well, Karen takes the blinders off that myth, and shows her audience that it is real, and closer to home than you can ever imagine. This play is beautifully written, and has the most serenading music you have ever heard. The production is family friendly, and also teaches children the importance of being able to talk to their parents and not be afraid to tell!
